Strategic Area I: Education (Providing Practically Applicable Quality Education to the Students for Academic Excellence in the Field of Agriculture & Allied Science) Strategic Area II: Research (Conducting Quality Research to Find Solution for Real World Problems of the Farmers & Farming Communities, especially relevant to the local/regional context, giving due consideration to indigenous knowledge and practices) Strategic Area III: Extension (Disseminating new ideas generated worldwide from research & education to the farmers in an understandable way adapting to the local conditions as well as reciprocating the feedback from the ground to align research, education and extension in line with the grassroot realities) Strategic Area IV: Operation (Promoting systematic, quick, efficient and smooth functioning of Faculty’s research, education and extension by developing strong support system based on established norms and principles for organizational governance led by people with high dedication, commitment, integrity, transparency, efficiency, timeliness, who are responsible and accountable towards organization) Strategic Area V: Collaboration (Building synergy by engaging potential local, provincial, national and international individuals/organizations in different activities of the faculty at different levels as well as organizing frequent and regular interaction between stakeholders based on stakeholder’s mapping and power analysis)
